biology syllabus

What we did in class today and homework:

Wed. 1/16:  Introductory packet was handed out and class procedures were discussed.

                 Inside the packet are two syllabi: one for the parent to keep at home

                       and a student copy that requires a parent signature.

                 Homework:  2 signatures (student syllabus and safety contract;

                                     both are in the packet)

                                  complete "Branches of Biology definitions (in packet)

                                  lab fee $5.00.

                                  Quiz on classroom procedures (study syllabus)

Friday 1/18:  Quiz on classroom procedures

                  Lecture:  Lab Safety:  biology-plants & animals

                  First Aid presentations: used American Red Cross books

                       to research information (see handout)

                  Homework:  fees, signatures

                        First Aid presentations:  No notes!!!! (no need for poster)
